Eric Hedford a.k.a. DJ Aquaman

Eric Hedford a.k.a. DJ Aquaman is an established club DJ best known for his Soul Stew Fridays at The Goodfoot Lounge, and for drumming in The Dandy Warhols. Clients hire Eric when dancing is a high priority, and for his love of music and ability to read a crowd.   Eric is a ‘60s soul, funk, disco and old-school hip hop specialist with a unique selection of party jams from across eras.

As DJ Aquaman, Eric helped launch the early ‘90s west coast rave scene as part of the One Love crew, performing at large-scale dance parties. In 2001, after falling in love with ‘60s soul and funk, he created his Soul Stew night at The Goodfoot Lounge, which remains one of Portland's longest-running and most popular dance nights.

As a commercial composer, he co-founded the Portland music house Flooded Music and has scored for Nike, adidas, Coke, ESPN, Brooks, and more.

In 2014 Hedford was inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame for his work with The Dandy Warhols.

He currently performs, writes, and records for various bands and artistic projects.
