The UkeLadies

The UkeLadies are a Portland-based, 7-piece, all-female frisky ukulele band of sexy mother-pluckers, known for choir-like harmonies, with a trashcan bass and washboard filling out their unique sound. The UkeLadies cover a wide swath of genres with some fun mash-ups thrown into the mix.

Formed in Fall 2010, the group started as a weekly social gathering of like-minded friends who wanted to learn to play the ukulele and drink wine, and has since naturally evolved to become a regularly-gigging band in the Portland, OR area, with several appearances on the local news station, radio, countless wedding and birthday events now under their belts and many sold-out public singalong shows.

Over the past few years, the UkeLady family has evolved, had babies and career changes, yet the gals are still singing and plucking their way into the hearts of many here in our little corner of the Pacific Northwest.
